Sephora is seeking an Asset Protection Partner in the McLean, VA area to safeguard assets and support a safe, inclusive environment for clients and employees.

You will work with store leaders to implement safety and shrink strategies, monitor activity, and handle incidents with professionalism. The role emphasizes being on the selling floor and collaborating with teams to deter theft and ensure exceptional service.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in retail operations, sales, hospitality, asset protection, or loss prevention
• Understanding of retail operations, shrink, and safety
• Ability to build trust and collaborate across teams
• Conflict de-escalation skills
• Comfortable with CCTV and reporting tools
• Excellent communication and attention to detail
• Physically able to lift and carry up to 50lbs

Responsibilities

• Promote safety & awareness; lead/join meetings and training to reinforce safety protocols
• Maintain strong store presence; spend 75-80% on the selling floor to deter theft
• Partner with leadership; collaborate with managers on shrink reduction and safety
• Monitor & investigate using CCTV and reporting tools to identify losses
• Incident response; de-escalate situations professionally with safety in mind
• Execute audits and reporting; prepare reports for asset protection efforts
• Compliance; adhere to asset protection policies and licensing requirements
• Support multiple locations as needed
