The Asset Protection Specialist is responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud, and supporting safety and environmental program compliance in their assigned store or stores. They utilize various tools to minimize loss, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink elimination culture. Additional responsibilities include:

1. Preparing accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries.
2. Preserving evidence and interacting with law enforcement, including testifying in court.
3. Reporting hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty.
4. Carrying out responsibilities in a manner that minimizes injury risks to all involved.
5. Demonstrating integrity and responding to asset protection and operational concerns.

The Asset Protection Specialist must focus on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
