Job summary

Jerry’s Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Security professional in the Twin Cities area to monitor activities, investigate incidents, and protect people and property. Reports to the Director of Security with a non-exempt status and $23/hour based on related experience.

Hours include Sundays through Saturdays with varied shifts. Ideal candidates are organized, communicate effectively verbally and in writing, and work well with others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience in related field preferred.
• Strong investigative and organizational skills.
• Proficient with computers including Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and general internet skills.
• Self-starter who works well independently and in a team.
• Availability for day, evening, weekends and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store activities to identify and prevent potential theft or fraud.
• Investigate external/internal cases concerning crimes against the company and suspicious activities.
• Collaborate with other departments as appropriate.
• Make external apprehensions following company policy.
• Conduct and build forensic investigations to close priority cases.
• Monitor physical security and drive shrink elimination in the store.
• Complete thorough reports of investigations and incidents.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Respond to emergencies and alarms to support store safety.
• Ensure safety of employees and customers per policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store activities to identify and prevent potential theft or fraud.

• Collaborate with other departments, where appropriate.
• Make external apprehensions following company policy.

• Complete thorough reports of all investigations and incidents.
• Maintain integrity and confidentiality with all proprietary and sensitive information.
• Respond and support store with emergency situations; respond to emergency situations and alarms.
• Ensure safety of all employees and customers via compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain professional relationships with store employees, customers, industry peers and law enforcement agencies.
• Remain up to date on industry trends and best practices in asset protection.
