Pay Range: $21.05/hr - $24.60/hr

Position Summary

Prevent and reduce loss due to bad debt, cash over/short, and civil liabilities; reduce shrink and improve margins. All associates must perform tasks safely, following corporate policies and legal requirements. Demonstrate respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Minimum Qualifications

• Knowledge of Fred Meyer policies and procedures
• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice or related field, or relevant experience
• Retail security or law enforcement experience preferred
• Ability to pass a drug test
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age 18 (or 21 in Alaska)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy
• Confidentiality and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to detect and deter theft, support customer and employee relations, and provide court testimony
