Michaels Stores is seeking a Security Associate at the Kernersville Distribution Center to protect assets and enforce safety policies. You will control access, monitor CCTV and alarms, investigate incidents, and perform audits to safeguard people and merchandise.

Flexible to work overtime as needed in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Role includes after-hours communications, first aid assistance, and adherence to Michaels’ safety policies in a climate-controlled office with a busy warehouse

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional related training/certification is a plus.
• Computer proficiency and ability to learn security systems.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong phone communication skills.

Mansioni

• Protect Michaels’ assets by maintaining safety policies and procedures.
• Control inbound and outbound trailer and automobile traffic; ensure proper documentation and load bars/straps.
• Manage card access and badge systems; perform end of shift bag checks.
• Investigate incidents and accidents and document them appropriately.
• Monitor CCTV, alarms, and access control; respond to emergencies and notify relevant parties.
• Support After Hours program and communicate delivery issues to stores.
• Assist in safety orientation and maintain safety awareness programs.
