Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is seeking a Security Associate to patrol interior and exterior areas, monitor access points, and respond to emergencies. The role requires familiarity with CCTV, alarm systems, and safety protocols.

You will enforce company policies and maintain detailed reporting daily. Experience with WMS, RF scanners, and MS Office tools is preferred; candidates must be able to work various shifts and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be organized and detail oriented.
• Proficient in writing and common MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word).
• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and RF scanning devices.
• Familiarity with inventory movement in a distribution center.

Responsibilities

• Patrolling interior and exterior areas to check security.
• Monitor access points and manage sign-ins for staff/visitors.
• Operate Evolv weapons detection system and respond to threats.
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems for suspicious activity and escalate as needed.
• Serve as first responder to emergencies and coordinate with law enforcement or fire departments.
• Maintain daily reports of observations, incidents, and checks.
• Enforce policies and safety regulations; remove trespassers when necessary.
• Complete transaction and activity reports as required.
• Perform life- and safety-critical inspections regularly.
