Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Technology Specialist in Irving, TX to develop and manage loss control programs spanning stores and distribution centers.

You will own alarm systems, CCTV, EAS and merchandise protection, coordinating with field staff, vendors, and management to meet goals. Responsibilities include leading CCTV and EAS projects, managing security vendors, and providing analytical insights to reduce shrink while ensuring compliance with legal requirements

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Loss Prevention, Asset Protection or related field.
• Familiarity with intrusion detection, access control, EAS and CCTV.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage loss control and physical security programs for stores and distribution centers.
• Lead CCTV, alarm, and access control projects with vendors and field teams.
• Oversee security guard vendors and ensure timely incident resolution.
• Analyze shrink trends and provide reports to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Investigations, Legal and Finance on system access and payments.
