Job summary

Nordstrom in Seattle is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to help maintain a safe environment for customers, employees, and assets. You will support safety initiatives, investigate incidents, and partner with store leadership to reduce shrink and promote operational excellence.

You’ll work closely with the Asset Protection Manager and local law enforcement, monitoring CCTV, conducting investigations, and training teams on asset prevention.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Calm, professional approach to safety-related situations.
• Strong accountability, initiative, and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills (preferred).
• Comfortable using surveillance, reporting, and monitoring technologies.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and reporting tools.
• Complete incident and security metric reports accurately and on time.
• Assist in training store teams on asset protection and work with management and law enforcement.
