Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to maintain a safe environment for customers and assets. You will partner with store leadership, investigate incidents, and support shrink reduction using RFID and reporting tools.

A day in the life includes monitoring CCTV, assisting investigations, training teams on asset prevention, and coordinating with local law enforcement while upholding safety procedures.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Valid security license (where required).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
• Knowledge of CCTV systems and basic computer skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data and responding to alarms.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
• Complete incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist in training store teams on asset prevention and coordinate with management and local law enforcement.
