Job summary

Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to help maintain a safe environment for customers and associates. You will partner with store leadership to reduce shrink, investigate incidents, and promote operational excellence across Asset Protection and Store Operations.

You will collaborate closely with the Asset Protection Manager and local law enforcement, executing safety programs and training to prevent loss while delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of retail or asset protection experience.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Calm and professional approach to safety scenarios.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV and conduct surveillance to identify suspicious activity.
• Support investigations by gathering data, conducting package checks, and responding to alarms in our Employee Service Area.
• Enforce safety and security procedures to promote a safe store environment.
• Execute shrink reduction strategies using RFID and other reporting tools.
• Complete accurate and timely incident, investigation, and security metric reports.
• Assist in training store teams on asset prevention, partner with management on action plans, and connect with local law enforcement.
