Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking an Asset Protection Coordinator to safeguard store assets, monitor security, and lead shrink prevention initiatives. This hourly role reports to the Market Asset Protection Manager and involves on-floor presence, data-driven investigations, and collaboration with leadership.

Responsibilities include training Outfitters on safety, conducting audits, and handling known loss investigations.

Qualifications

Experience in criminal or internal investigations.
Experience with security systems (CCTV, EAS).
Ability to conduct quality reviews and audits.
First Aid/ CPR/AED certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive training for Outfitters on shrink, safety, and security.
Translate directives to store leadership and Outfitters as required.
Provide exceptional customer service on the sales floor and observe for suspicious activity.
Identify root causes of shrink through cycle counts and audits.
Review inventory adjustments for accountability and investigate discrepancies.
Promote asset protection programs with staff and vendors.
Ensure merchandise protection tools are used and paid for at point of purchase; maintain security standards.
Monitor safety and security across the store and property.
Conduct known loss investigations and assist in criminal investigations as needed.
Assist in investigations into policy violations and illicit activity.
Support safety programs and participate in safety committee meetings.
