Nordstrom, Inc. is seeking a Manager of Asset Protection to supervise AP teams, recruit and develop staff, and manage budgeting within the store. You will execute shrink reduction strategies and partner with store leaders to protect profitability and safety.

The role requires strong investigative and leadership experience, with a focus on data-driven loss prevention, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• A valid security license is required for this role in Washington DC; Denver, Colorado; New York City, New York; St. Louis, Missouri; and Oregon.
• Proven success in investigative, asset protection, and security procedures as well as prior AP leadership experience.
• Ability to develop and maintain productive relationships with other employees and leaders.
• Strong written communication skills and ability to communicate clearly with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and execute the organizational strategy set by the AP Division.
• Develop strong relationships within the store and lead shrink-reduction efforts.
• Own building security and safety, educate staff on emergency preparedness, and assist in incidents.
• Monitor reports and ensure AP incidents are reported and documented properly.
• Utilize data to identify trends and mitigate internal and external theft.
• Execute shrink programs and detect issues of theft and dishonesty.
• Lead hiring and development of talent for investigations, auditing, and controls.
• Be data-driven to identify risks and maximize profitability.
