Job summary

Macy's Asset Protection Manager position overseeing one of the highest shortage locations requires strategic leadership and deep AP expertise. You will guide the AP team, collaborate with Store, Division, and Regional leaders, and drive shortage-reduction initiatives to protect assets and support topline results.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of Asset Protection management experience.
• Experience leading store executives and AP teams.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays.
• Ability to lift and stand for long periods; physically capable to perform job duties.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store executive team in shortage prevention programs and awareness.
• Develop relationships with Store, Division, and Regional leaders to gain support.
• Manage investigations, apprehensions, and recoveries related to theft.
• Analyze theft trends using AP reports, systems, and technology.
• Ensure AP policies are understood and executed by the team.
• Oversee payroll expenses within Asset Protection.
• Support annual inventory process and reconciliation.
• Focus on significant shortage opportunities and action plans with impact.
• Lead special projects beyond normal AP duties.
