Burlington Stores in Roseville, MI is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft and fraud in high-risk areas while upholding a safe store environment. You will greet customers with energy and model professional conduct, partnering with store leadership to reduce shrink. You will train associates, document indicators of theft, and coordinate with local law enforcement as needed.

Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays is required. Base pay starts at $14.73 per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or safety-focused roles preferred.
• Ability to engage with customers and associates in a positive, professional manner.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors by demonstrating command presence and proper attire.
• Maintain a safe, secure store with strong attention to detail and communication with leadership.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas to promote shrink reduction and best-in-class service.
• Identify and document indicators of theft; coordinate with store/field leaders and, as needed, local law enforcement.
• Support onboarding/training of associates in shortage reduction programs and assist in inventory preparation.
