Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in New York, NY is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to lead theft mitigation and protect club assets. You will design and execute strategies, train team members, and collaborate with store leadership and police when needed to deter loss.

Responsibilities include monitoring trends, implementing protection programs, and ensuring a safe, compliant environment while maintaining excellent member service and operational standards across the club.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, college degree, and/or big box wholesale, retail, grocery and/or management experience is preferred.
• Prior, Law Enforcement, asset protection, safety, and/or inventory control experience required.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including managing/supervising cross-functional teams, training team members, and driving and communicating results.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Open shift availability required.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Develops/teaches company asset protection programs and initiatives.
• Investigating results from inventory count program to identify theft activity.
• Executes Asset Protection Routines as outlined in the Asset Protection Supervisor Calendar pertaining to theft and fraud.
• Execute merchandise protection standards focused on current club theft trends.
• Partner with RAPM and investigate internal and external theft, fraud, and organized retail crime cases.
• Assists RAPM in deployment of 3rd Party Guards.
• Acts as liaison between club leadership and local police department and community.
• Communicates results of investigations and provide updates to leadership based upon facts of each case.
• Conduct weekly CCTV review per the Asset Protection calendar.
• Complete weekly data entry of inventory recoveries per the Asset Protection calendar.
• Manage, review, and resolve losses identified through exception-based reporting and cash variances.
• Maintains all club policies and procedures.
