Qualifications

• Experience deterring theft and promoting a safe store environment.
• Ability to train and develop associates in shortage reduction programs.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors with a confident presence.
• Maintain a safe and secure store with attention to detail and strong communication.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk areas promoting best-in-class service.
• Display knowledge of top shortage areas and support programs to reduce theft.
• Gather indicators of external theft and coordinate with leadership and law enforcement.
• Assist store leadership with internal controls, POS monitoring, store audits, and asset protection programs.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training of associates in shortage reduction processes.
• Assist in preparing and executing the semi-annual inventory and developing action plans to reduce shortage.
• Model safety as a top priority and address unsafe practices promptly.
• Manage stressful situations and address unsafe practices.
