Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or store security.
• Ability to engage with customers and associates in a manner consistent with company values.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide an effective deterrent to dishonest behaviors throughout the store by demonstrating a command presence through role modeling, dress code, positive demeanor, and energetic greeting.
• Maintain a safe and secure store with attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, and strong communication with store leadership.
• Engage with customers and associates in high-risk shortage areas, promoting positive interactions and strong customer service.
• Display working knowledge of shortage areas and support programs to identify and reduce theft.
• Gather indicators of external theft and report to store and field leaders; coordinate with local law enforcement as directed.
• Support store manager with internal controls, operational oversight, including audits, and promotion of Asset Protection programs.
• Provide onboarding and ongoing training support in shortage reduction programs.
• Assist leadership in inventory prep and action plan development to reduce shortage.
• Role-model safety as a top priority and manage stressful situations effectively.
• Work with leadership to address unsafe practices at every opportunity.
