Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking a Shortage Control Lead to mitigate theft and fraud in high-risk areas while promoting a safe store environment.

You will engage customers and associates with a strong, energetic greeting and lead shortage reduction programs under the guidance of store leadership. The role requires leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to train shortage associates, identify theft indicators, and coordinate with management and law enforcement as necessary.

Qualifications

• Experience in loss prevention or asset protection preferred.
• Ability to work in high-pressure environments while maintaining poise.

Responsibilities

• Deterrent to dishonest behavior with strong presence and visible control.
• Assist in training shortage associates and promote shortage education.
• Monitor store areas for shrinkage and report indicators of external theft.
• Coordinate with store leadership and local law enforcement as needed.
