Job summary

Burlington Stores, Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Supervisor to lead store security, deter theft, and protect customers, associates, merchandise and property. You will implement and direct the Shortage Control and Safety programs with professionalism under pressure.

You will supervise the AP team, coordinate risk mitigation, and partner with local law enforcement as needed. A focus on safety, training, and excellent service is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in asset protection or security preferred.
• Ability to supervise and train team members.
• Experience in retail security operations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise patrols to create a visible security presence.
• Recruit, train and develop Shortage Control Associates.
• Stay current with Safety and Security standards and protocols.
• Investigate theft incidents as directed by Asset Protection Manager.
• Report hazards, manage safety inspections and audits.
• Control access for associates and visitors; monitor CCTV if applicable.
• Represent Burlington in court proceedings related to AP matters when needed.
• Build relationships with local law enforcement.
