Nordstrom Inc. is seeking an Asset Protection Agent to help keep customers, teams, and brands safe. You will work with the Emergency Response Team to respond to emergencies, mitigate shrinkage, and prevent theft.

The role involves conducting investigations, using video surveillance and RFID data, and reporting high-profile incidents promptly. The position requires a valid security license in certain locations, strong decision-making, and excellent verbal/written communication.

Responsibilities

• Resolve theft and conduct apprehensions in high shrinkage areas following policy.
• Identify theft trends using surveillance and reporting tools.
• Drive shrinkage reduction through action plans and standards.
• Support internal theft investigations and escalation processes.
• Investigate internal theft with evidence gathering and cross-functional collaboration.
• Monitor activity via video systems and RFID data to aid investigations.
• Maintain store safety and respond to security incidents and emergencies.
• Lead security audits and training on shrinkage awareness.
