Job summary

Target in Portland, ME is seeking an Assets Protection Specialist to help keep guests, team members, and the brand safe. You will patrol, monitor, and respond to security incidents while greeting guests and supporting store operations to ensure a smooth shopping experience.

This role requires 18+ years old, a flexible schedule including nights and weekends, and the ability to stay physically active. Training will be provided to learn Target's AP practices and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create an easy, inspiring guest experience by greeting guests and assisting with needs.
• Help guests locate items and resolve issues to ensure a smooth shopping experience.
• End every guest transaction with a sincere thank you.
• Support total store sales, guest service, and prevent theft by ensuring product is in stock.
• Respond to security incidents and document accordingly following AP policies and procedures.
• Promote safety culture and inclusivity across the team.
