Job summary

TransGrid Energy, a renewable energy company, is seeking an Asset Operations Manager to oversee O&M and asset management for a portfolio of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS assets in the United States. The role emphasizes technical operations, monitoring, and continuous improvement across fleet performance and market participation.

You will work with internal teams and external stakeholders to maximize asset availability, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or a related technical field preferred; degrees in business, economics, or a related field will be considered.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in utility-scale solar PV and BESS operations and maintenance, asset management, and energy market activities.
• Strong understanding of utility-scale PV systems including inverters, DC collection, trackers, and AC interconnection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support day-to-day O&M of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS assets to maximize performance and availability.
• Manage and troubleshoot Solar PV systems including SMA inverters, DC collection, trackers, and AC interconnection.
• Oversee daily operations of Tesla Megapack and LG Energy Solution BESS installations, monitoring state of charge and battery health.
