Job summary

SunStrong Management is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a portfolio of solar, BESS, wind, and EV assets. You will drive performance, reliability, and financial results by guiding Portfolio Managers and coordinating Field Service Partners.

Reporting to leadership, you will own KPIs for production, availability, and ROI, translate underperformance into recovery plans, and ensure rapid, high-quality execution across internal teams and vendors.

Qualifications

• Ten+ years of experience in solar, BESS, or renewable energy operations.
• Proven leadership experience managing high-performance teams.
• Deep expertise in solar and BESS systems, OEMs, warranties, and RMAs.
• Strong understanding of PI, availability, and performance drivers.
• Experience managing third-party O&M providers at scale.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field, or equivalent demonstrated experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the performance of the portfolio across solar, BESS, wind, and EV infrastructure.
• Translate underperformance into actionable recovery plans with timelines.
• Hold Field Service Partners to SLAs, safety expectations, and ROI delivery.
• Ensure all work orders, repairs, and maintenance are executed with speed and quality.
• Own financial impact of operational decisions and ROI justification.
