Job summary

Hirewell has been retained to recruit a Multifamily Asset Manager to sit in their Dallas, TX office. This role requires hands-on management of a multifamily portfolio with a focus on maximizing NOI, cash flow, and asset value through strategic budgeting, underwriting, and capital initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have 4–7 years of asset management experience in multifamily property operations and be able to work full-time onsite in Dallas.

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial and operational oversight of a multifamily portfolio, monitoring performance, budgets, leasing trends, capital expenditures, and key operating metrics to maximize risk-adjusted returns.
• Develop and maintain detailed property-level underwriting, annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans; identify gaps and implement NOI and cash flow improvements.
• Partner with property management, construction, acquisitions, and investment teams to execute value-add initiatives, capital projects, refinancing, dispositions, and other asset-level strategies.
• Prepare and present portfolio and asset-level performance reporting to senior leadership and investment committees with actionable recommendations.

• Develop and maintain detailed property-level underwriting, annual budgets, forecasts, and business plans; identify performance gaps and implement strategies to improve NOI, occupancy, cash flow, and overall asset value.
• Partner with property management, construction, acquisitions, and investment teams to execute value-add initiatives, capital projects, refinancing, dispositions, and other major asset-level strategies.
• Prepare and present portfolio and asset-level performance reporting to senior leadership and investment committees, providing actionable recommendations on operating performance, capital allocation, and investment strategy.
