Job summary

Lenox Advisors, a subsidiary of NFP, seeks an Asset Management Associate in New York to run operations within asset management. You will liaise with Relationship Managers, Asset Managers, and vendors to ensure accurate onboarding, account activity, and client service.

The role emphasizes processing deposits, withdrawals, and complex requests, while supporting various broker-dealer and custodian platforms. Collaborative, detail-driven professionals thrive here.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of equity and bond markets, trusts, and securities transfer laws.
• MOSAIC: basic tasks and Net Flow Reporting; event processing.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and Relationship Managers.
• Learn systems quickly; prioritize workload efficiently.
• Anticipate problems and develop contingency plans.
• Proactive; self-motivated with a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Assist new clients through onboarding and gather required paperwork for new accounts.
• Liaise between Asset Managers and partners to ensure high-quality client service.
• Identify complex account requests and escalate when needed.
• Lead deposits/withdrawals, wire transfers, ACATs, rebalancing, and redemptions.
• Generate client proposals with Relationship Managers or Asset Managers.
• Update internal marketing platforms with timely materials.
• Support VP, Operations Manager on special projects.
• Develop/vendor relationships to maintain client accounts.
• Support Asset Management business with technology knowledge (Mosaic, A360, ProGen).
• Understand custodian tech (Charles Schwab, Fidelity, NFS).
