Job summary

BKM Capital Partners in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Associate Director of Asset Management to lead strategic planning, leasing and financial analysis across a portfolio of assets. The role emphasizes building performance through rigorous reporting and collaboration with onsite staff and external partners.

You will develop annual business plans, monitor operations, and drive asset value through market insights, capital budgeting, and disciplined leasing strategies, with travel and an in-office work

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business, finance, economics or similar.
• 7+ years relevant experience in commercial real estate asset / portfolio management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Motivated and results-driven with strong work ethic.
• Ability to travel to assigned markets (25-40%).
• Ability to build and lead a team to success.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee annual asset business plans.
• Implement operational and leasing strategies.
• Monitor asset operational and financial performance.
• Present quarterly asset reviews with key inputs and follow-up items.
• Negotiate, review, and approve material tenant lease documents and other asset-related agreements.
• Provide asset acquisition/disposition support as needed.
• Perform regular site visits and develop market understanding.
