Job summary

Stockbridge is seeking an Asset Management Associate to join our Atlanta team. This role provides exposure to the full lifecycle of property ownership, with responsibilities spanning financial analysis, asset strategy development, and oversight of third-party managers.

You will work closely with senior professionals, contribute to investment committee discussions, and mentor Analysts while taking increasing ownership of assignments across office, industrial, and multifamily portfolios.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in real estate or finance, asset management, acquisitions, dispositions, valuation, portfolio analysis, cash flow forecasting, or debt.
• Strong understanding of real estate investment fundamentals.
• Advanced proficiency in Argus and Excel; familiarity with leasing/portfolio management platforms (VTS, Yardi, CoStar) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and review sophisticated financial models for valuations, dispositions, recapitalizations, lease analyses, waterfall structures, and portfolio-level analysis.
• Monitor asset and portfolio performance against plans; identify trends, opportunities, and issues.
• Assist in preparing budgets, business plans, and asset strategies.
• Synthesize data into clear conclusions and actionable recommendations.
• Conduct due diligence on potential acquisitions and evaluate key investment considerations.
• Develop and execute asset strategies to maximize value across portfolio objectives.
• Oversee property managers, brokers, and partners; build productive relationships.
• Support ground-up development, redevelopment, and capital projects with Asset Managers.
