Job summary

Bowery Residents' Committee (BRC) is seeking an entry-level Asset/Property Management professional to support the management of its real estate portfolio in New York City. You will assist with compliance, lease management, and budgeting while collaborating with Facilities, Programs, and Finance teams.

The role emphasizes data-driven analysis, vendor procurement, and coordination across departments to sustain building operations and sustainability initiatives in a collaboratively focused

Qualifications

• Entry level 0–3 years in real estate, building management, or administrative property management.
• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, Construction Management, Facilities Management, Business Administration or equivalent background.

Responsibilities

• Review floor plans and assess building conditions during property visits with Facilities staff.
• Create and maintain inventory and document expenditures for major building systems for planned maintenance.
• Assess portfolio and recommend work at each property.
• Collaborate to develop and enhance work order system for planned and preventive maintenance.
• Track progress on capital projects and other initiatives.
• Participate in procurement for projects and ensure vendor quality and specs.
• Analyze ownership terms and lease details for buildings in the portfolio.
• Monitor portfolio compliance with regulatory and syndicator requirements including NYC Local Laws.
• Leverage AI for data analysis and reporting.
• Other duties as assigned.
