Job summary

Augusta Technical College seeks a Business Asset Accountant to manage the college’s physical infrastructure, assets, and related operations, ensuring efficient use and compliance with state requirements.

You will maintain asset records, coordinate with campus stakeholders and vendors, oversee state vehicles and rental spaces, and help align facilities with the system’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of related experience in asset management.
• Experience with asset tracking and inventory systems.
• Ability to work across a multi-campus environment and collaborate with stakeholders.
• Must have the physical ability to stand and walk for extended durations.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain asset records: track inventory, condition, and location of facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate with college administrators, faculty, staff, and vendors to address facility needs and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations and institutional policies for facilities and asset management.
• Manages State Vehicles: oversee usage tracking and maintenance scheduling.
• Manages Rental Spaces: oversee rental and scheduling of facilities across campuses.
• Other Duties as assigned.
