Augusta Technical College is seeking a Business Asset Accountant to manage the college’s facilities and asset lifecycle across multiple campuses.

You will maintain asset records, coordinate with administrators and vendors, ensure compliance, and oversee state vehicles and rental spaces to support academic and administrative operations.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with asset tracking and inventory management is preferred.
• Ability to manage facilities across multiple campuses and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain asset records, track inventory, and document location/condition for reporting and compliance.
• Coordinate with administrators, faculty, staff, and vendors to address facility needs and project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with state regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies for facilities and assets.
• Oversee state vehicle operations, usage tracking, and maintenance scheduling.
• Manage rental spaces across campuses and other duties as assigned.

This position ensures that facilities and assets are maintained, utilized efficiently, and aligned with the system’s strategic goals. It involves overseeing the lifecycle of facilities and ensuring compliance with state and institutional requirements.MAJOR DUTIESMaintain asset records : Track inventory, condition, and location of facilities and equipment, ensuring accurate documentation for reporting and compliance.Coordinate with stakeholders : Collaborate with college administrators, faculty, staff, and vendors to address facility needs and project timelines.Ensure compliance : Follow state regulations, safety standards, and institutional policies for facilities and asset management.Manages State Vehicles: Oversees state vehicle operations, including usage tracking and maintenance scheduling.Manages Rental Spaces: Oversees the rental and scheduling of facilities across all campuses.Other Duties as assigned.COMPETENCIESRequires strong attention to detail, effective problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities across diverse facilities. Proficient in computer operations and job-related software, with sound decision-making skills, strong interpersonal abilities, and excellent oral and written communicationMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree from accredited college or university in a related field (e.g., facilities management, business administration, engineering), and three years of full-time-related experience in a position related to the performance of the job. Skills and experience typically include asset tracking and inventory systems, strong organizational and communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-campus environment.
