Job summary

UMB Financial Corporation is seeking a Client Manager within its Asset Based Lending team in Dallas. You will cultivate long-term relationships with borrowers’ key decision makers and work with collateral analysts and field examiners to ensure proper documentation and ongoing facilities management.

You will monitor loan performance, credit compliance, and risk exposures while gaining a deep understanding of borrowers’ cash flow needs to drive profitability and informed credit decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience up to 2 years in Asset Based Lending.
• Experience working face to face with clients in a client interfacing role.
• Thorough knowledge of acceptable asset based lending standards and practices.
• Working knowledge of financial statements and budgets.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Understand client needs, loan structures, collateral, documentation and financial performance.
• Use credit and underwriting skills to recommend modifications and facility structures.
• Assign borrower risk rating and suggest changes based on performance.
• Complete reviews of monthly financial statements, covenants, collateral reports, verifications and analyses.
• Review and approve daily advance requests based on collateral and credit status.
