Job summary

Carrollton Springs is seeking an Assessment Specialist RN to provide clinical, operational, and administrative excellence in a behavioral health setting. This full-time night shift role requires RN licensure and experience in psychiatric care.

You will participate in assessments, crisis care, and care planning, with CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtained within 30 days. We offer comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a valid state license.
• Experience in a psychiatric health care facility; chemical dependency/dual diagnosis preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric emergency dept, crisis care, patient assessments, and treatment planning.
• Current, unencumbered RN license to practice by the state board of nursing.
• CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

How you’ll contribute

• Is responsible for supporting the needs of the department with a focus on clinical, operational, and administrative excellence.

What we’re looking for

Applicants should be a graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing or relevant state licensure required. Additional requirements include:

• Previous experience in a psychiatric health care facility, with direct experience working with chemical dependency, dual diagnosis and psychiatric patients preferred.
• Experience in psychiatric emergency department, crisis care, patient assessments, family motivations, treatment planning and communication with external review organizations or comparable entities.
• Current, unencumbered license to practice by the state board of nursing
• CPR and de-escalation certification required or obtain within 30 days of hire.
