Job summary

Western Governors University in Salt Lake City is seeking an Associate Assessment Developer to design and maintain objective and performance-based assessments, under the direction of Assessment Developers and leadership. You will help organize workshops and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

This role involves coordinating with subject matter experts, validating assessment congruency, and contributing to scoring guidelines and QA processes across the exam lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or higher with professional experience.
• Strong facilitation, written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Travel up to 20% for company summits and events.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development for objective and performance assessments.
• Facilitate workshops with SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Maintain assessment design standards and QA processes.
• Monitor risk and ensure on-time delivery of assessments.
• Collaborate with leadership to align assessments with business objectives.
• Develop scoring guidelines and validate implementation.
