Job summary

Universal Health Services’ Ridge Behavioral Health System in Lexington, KY, is seeking an Assessment Clinician (PRN). The role includes telephonic, telehealth, and in-person risk assessments, coordinating referrals and admissions, and determining level of care for patients across ages.

You will work with referral sources, families, and unit staff, following corporate policies and ensuring smooth intake while supporting crisis intervention and clinical decisions.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or Human Services field and crisis experience.
• Experience with intake, assessment, admission and crisis intervention.
• Licensed or eligible for supervision if not independently licensed.

Responsibilities

• Perform initial clinical assessments to determine level of care.
• Coordinate and disposition of referral calls to appropriate level of care.
• Facilitate admission with psychiatrists and nursing staff and complete pre-certification information.
