Job summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Placement and Assessment Specialist III to support the daily operation of the Assessment Center. This role administers assessments, enters data, ensures program compliance, and analyzes processes to improve efficiency while maintaining testing integrity.

The position requires independent judgment and precise adherence to policies, with opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement and data-driven decision making within an on-site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; 4–6 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong attention to detail is required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Assessment Center.
• Administer and proctor placement, admission, certification, and professional exams.
• Coordinate testing platforms, schedules, and availability.
• Troubleshoot testing software, equipment, and platform issues.
• Ensure compliance with testing-partner policies and security requirements.
• Maintain accurate testing records, documentation, and data.
• Handle testing irregularities and suspected misconduct according to protocol.
• Identify process improvements for candidates, proctors, and operations.
• Maintain an audit-ready, compliant testing environment.
