Job summary

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • 2 years of experience in a mechanical or production environment.
  • Own basic tools (English and Metric tool sets recommended).
  • Basic ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Experience in industrial automation preferred; Basic computer skills required.
  • Must lift up to 50 lbs; strong work ethic and good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics and work instructions.
  • Use hand and power tools to fit, fasten and adjust parts with precision.
  • Assemble mechanical systems including pneumatic systems and various conveyor assemblies as instructed.
  • Maintain all 5S standards.
  • Inspect finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Troubleshoot assembly issues and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supervisors and other team members to meet production goals.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are maintained in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
