Job summary

Snap-on, Inc. in San Jose, CA is seeking an Assembly Technician to perform mechanical assembly, calibration, and packaging of production items at our San Jose headquarters.

You will join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement, handling wiring, soldering, and PCBAs, all while adhering to RoHS and IPC standards. The role contributes to safety initiatives and ongoing process optimization.

Qualifications

• Experience with complex mechanical assembly and related hand tools.
• Familiar with PCBAs and RoHS-compliant assembly processes.
• Hand-soldering and wire prep for electronics assemblies.
• Familiarity with IPC/JEDEC standards and related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical assembly on production items.
• Assists in material and packaging processing.
• Assists in the calibration of Mountz products.
• Supports and participates in the company's Quality Management System improvements.
• Supports and participates in the health and safety program.
• Performs other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical assembly on production items.
• Assists in material and packaging processing.
• Assists in the calibration of all Mountz products.
• Conducts all tasks/responsibilities keeping always in mind the Manufacturing Department objectives and the continual improvement of Mountz's Quality Management System.
• Supports and participates in the company's health and safety program.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as needed.
