Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Assembly Technician, where you will play a vital role in building high-quality automation equipment and mechanical systems. Essential Functions:

(This description is not all inclusive, other duties may be assigned):

• Assemble mechanical sub-systems.
• Use hand tools, power tools accurately to assemble mechanical products
• Ability to ready blue prints and/or schematics and assembly instructions in English
• Install mechanical sub-systems onto chassis
• Determine the cause of part fit issues and recommend or correct as necessary
• Assist with receiving, inspection, and shipping when necessary
• Assist with inventory control
• Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring, or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment.
• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine materials requirements or assembly instructions.
• Work at different workstations as production needs require, or shifts from one station to another, during the assembly process
• Mark and tag components so that stock inventory can be tracked and identified.
• Position, align, or adjust work pieces or electrical parts to facilitate wiring or assembly.
• Assemble fabricated parts to relatively small or light sub-assemblies and complete units
• Use hand tools and small power tools to assemble units; sets up and adjusts accordingly
• May interface with engineering and quality departments
• Report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
• Familiar with ESD
• Confer with supervisors or engineers to plan or review work activities or to resolve production problems.
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in assembly, fabrication, and manufacturing environments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation accurately
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic precision measuring instruments
• Familiarity with electrical assembly practices, including wiring and soldering, is a plus
• Understanding of basic manufacturing processes and machine assembly techniques
• Knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) handling practices
• Basic computer skills for tracking work orders, inventory, and documentation
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and quality standards
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Ability to follow detailed instructions while adapting to changing production needs
• Solid organizational skills and commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient workspace
