Job summary

Mirion Technologies is seeking an Assembler to join our manufacturing team in Florida. You will assemble electro-mechanical products, test and troubleshoot assemblies, and ensure quality documentation throughout production.

The role requires reading drawings and following procedures with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include using hand tools and test equipment, performing inspections, and meeting daily production goals.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 2+ years of manufacturing, assembly, or related experience.
  • Experience with electro-mechanical assemblies, PCBAs, wiring harnesses, soldering, sheet metal, plastics, and adhesives preferred.
  • IPC 610/620 training or certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of ESD practices and quality inspection processes.
  • Ability to read and follow assembly drawings, work instructions, and technical documentation.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble electro-mechanical products according to work instructions, prints, and BOMs.
  • Operate production equipment and use hand tools and test equipment safely and effectively.
  • Perform functional testing, troubleshooting, and repair of assemblies as needed.
  • Verify material revisions, counts, and component accuracy throughout the assembly process.
  • Conduct inspections and document quality issues, test results, and production activities.
  • Meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals while reporting issues to supervision.
  • Follow OSHA, FDA, ISO 13485, ESD, and company safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area using 6S principles.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with training other team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, engineers, and supervisors.

Job description
