Job summary

Eaton in Greenwood, SC is seeking an Assembly Tech II (Wire Boards) on 1st shift. The role pays $20.00 per hour and offers a variable incentive program. Core hours: Mon-Thu, 5 AM–3 PM.

You will assemble, wire, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies, breakers, and sub-assemblies per drawings and supervisor instructions. Duties include completing ISO and production checklists, mounting electrical equipment, performing wire operations, and inspecting for quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• SC Manufacturing Certification (SCMC) or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, wire, and modify medium/high voltage assemblies and sub-assemblies per drawings and supervisor instructions.
• Follow manufacturing information and consult drawings, sketches, and written/oral instructions.
• Fill ISO, quality, and production checklists for supervision and engineering as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Inspect assemblies for loose hardware and cleanliness; report shortages.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues to transfer knowledge and skills.
