Job summary

Eaton Corporation in Greenwood, SC seeks an Assembly Technician II (Wire Boards) for the Weekend Shift (Fri–Sun, 5am–5pm). The role wires, assembles and modifies components for medium/high voltage equipment. Eligible for a variable incentive program and weekend premium.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, basic tools proficiency, and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience. Relocation assistance is not offered and candidates within 50 miles of Greenwood are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Experience with hand and air tools in a manufacturing setting.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills (Outlook/Teams).
• Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit; within a 50-mile radius of Greenwood, SC.

Responsibilities

• Follow manufacturing information, drawings, and instructions to established procedures.
• Fill out ISO, quality, and production checklists as required.
• Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations.
• Lift and assemble heavy copper parts.
• Report shortages to Kanban inventory operators.
• Inspect assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.
• Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with development work.
• Train and coach colleagues for knowledge transfer and skill development.
• Other duties as assigned.
