Job summary

Publix Super Markets, Inc. in Georgia is hiring for a Production Associate in our manufacturing department. You will set up and operate equipment, assemble and disassemble tooling, and ensure GMP compliance to produce safe, quality food products.

The role requires strong teamwork, reliability, and the ability to lift heavy items, work varying shifts, and maintain accurate paperwork. Training provided; opportunities to grow within Publix.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate safe working habits.
• Must be able to lift in excess of 50 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate all equipment in the department.
• Assemble and disassemble equipment.
• Practice GMPs to ensure safe food products are being manufactured.
• Gather, prep, and weigh raw materials.
• Calculate daily production needs.
• Forecast inventory of raw materials.
• Provide timely and accurate communication to other support areas concerning production needs.
• Complete all paperwork required by the position accurately.
• Assist other team members as needed.

• practicing strict sanitation and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) to ensure food safe products are being manufactured
• gathering, prepping, and weighing raw materials
• calculating daily production needs
• forecasting inventory of raw materials
• providing timely and accurate communication to other support areas concerning production needs
• accurately completing all paperwork required by the position and
• other duties as assigned.

The required qualifications for this position include:
