Responsibilities

• Operate and clean the fluid filling and packaging equipment.
• Clean the environment of the filling room.
• Maintain sanitary equipment and environment for packaging of fluid products.
• Operate fluid filling equipment at a proficient level for gallon, half-gallon and single-serve containers.
• Operate CIP and COP systems.
• Operate floor cleaner and scrubbing equipment.
• Disassemble and reassemble fluid fillers for cleaning.
• Manual and hand clean of casers, labelers, conveyors, fillers, stackers, walls, drains, and control panels.
• Maintain equipment in fluid packaging area (labelers, conveyors, fillers, casers, stackers).
• Maintain accurate written production records.

Job description

• operating and cleaning the fluid filling and packaging equipment
• cleaning the environment of the filling room
• maintaining sanitary equipment and environment for the packaging of fluid products
• operating fluid filling equipment at a proficient level, while filling products into gallon, half-gallon and single serve containers including milk, eggnog, fruit drinks, juices, teas and water
• operating the CIP and COP systems
• operating the floor cleaner and scrubbing equipment
• disassembling and reassembling fluid fillers and associated equipment for cleaning
• responsible for manual and hand cleaning of casers, labelers, conveyors, fillers, filler parts stackers, walls, drains, empty case conveyors, control panels, and any equipment involved in packaging
• operating and maintaining equipment of the fluid packaging area, including labelers, conveyors, fillers, casers, stackers, etc.
• maintaining accurate written production records
• performing laboratory tests and monitor weight control of product, and
• producing a quality product in a manner that meets Publix and Regulatory standards.
