Job summary

Panelmatic, Inc. is seeking an Assembly Supervisor to lead one or more production teams in executing manufacturing processes.

The role focuses on timely completion of tasks, task delegation, progress monitoring, and adherence to policies and procedures with a view to process improvements. The successful candidate will have at least 1 year of shop supervision experience, strong English communication, and the ability to read drawings and specifications.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience as a shop supervisor or equivalent manufacturing experience required.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English required.
• Ability to read industrial specific drawings and specifications required.
• Experience working in a safe ISO 9001 certified environment required.
• US work authorization without sponsorship required.
• Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required.
• Ability to physically push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more required.
• Ability to sit, stand, and walk for four plus hours at a time required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises staff to produce manufactured products and organizes and monitors workflow.
• Accomplishes manufacturing results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; and initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
• Recruits, selects, onboards, trains, and mentors employees.
• Maintains workflow by monitoring and upgrading processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, monitoring personnel and resources, studying methods, implementing cost reductions, developing reporting procedures and systems, facilitating corrections to malfunctions within process control points, and initiating and fostering a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.
• Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results of the processing flow on shift production summaries.
• Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing production standards.
• Ensures operation of equipment by calling for repairs and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
