Responsibilities

  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components following instructions and diagrams.
  • Use hand tools and light power tools such as screwdrivers and pliers.
  • Package completed products including boxing and tapping.
  • Follow quality control standards with QC to ensure accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, organized work area per safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members in production.
  • Accept coaching to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Support additional production tasks as needed.

Assembly Specialist (Electrical Assembler)

Location: Hazelwood, MO

Pay: $24.50/hour

Schedule: Monday–Wednesday | 5:30 PM – 5:30 AM (12-hour shifts)

Overtime: Available

Kelly Services is hiring Assembly Specialists (Electrical Assemblers) for a manufacturing client in Hazelwood, MO. In this role, you will assemble life safety products using detailed instructions, hand tools, and quality standards in a fast‑paced production environment. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands‑on work, take pride in precision, and want consistent overnight hours with a strong manufacturing team.

Responsibilities
  • Assemble electronic and mechanical components following written instructions and diagrams
  • Use hand tools and light power tools (screwdrivers, pliers, cutters, etc.)
  • Package completed products, including boxing and using automated taping equipment
  • Follow quality control standards and partner with QC to ensure product accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area following all safety guidelines
  • Work collaboratively with team members in a production environment
  • Accept coaching and feedback to improve quality and efficiency
  • Support additional production tasks as needed
Requirements
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly experience preferred
  • Ability to use hand tools and perform repetitive assembly tasks
  • Ability to lift and handle components up to 10 lbs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
