Job summary

Flex-N-Gate LLC. is seeking a motivated Assembly Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 pm–11:00 pm) in Battle Creek, MI. You will load components, inspect parts, and maintain a clean work area while supporting production goals and quality standards.

The role offers starting pay of $20.55 per hour with a $0.75 shift differential for the 2nd shift and planned pay increases at 3 and 6 months, along with an attendance bonus from the first full month.

Qualifications

• 1 year of manufacturing experience preferred.
• High attention to detail required.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Perform basic math including percentages and fractions.
• Ability to use quality gauges/fixtures and work in a factory environment (standing, bending, lifting up to 25 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Load components into machine or onto conveyor system.
• Complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Hourly inspection of parts.
• Pack finished product into totes/bins.

Assembly Operator- 2nd shift

Work hours are 3:00 pm to 11 pm.

Work a straight 8 hours shift with a paid lunch

Pay rate starts at $20.55/ hour with scheduled pay increase at 3 months and 6 months of employment.

Additional $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift

Eligible for monthly attendance bonus first full month of employment

Assembly Operator will be responsible for

• Loading components into machine or onto conveyor system
• Will complete production and inspection reports as required.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area
• Hourly inspection of parts
• Packing finished product various totes/ bins

Requirements:

• Prefer 1 year of previous manufacturing experience in fast paced environment
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Perform basic math skills- including working with percentages and fractions
• Ability to use and understand quality gauges, quality fixtures
• Ability to work in a factory environment- standing, bending. Lifting up to 25 lbs
