Job summary

Sanmina Corporation is seeking an Assembly Manager to lead daily manufacturing execution for data center hardware, energy storage, transformers, and cooling systems. You will head multiple assembly areas, align priorities, labor, and materials, and collaborate with engineering, quality, planning, and supply chain to sustain SQDCP results.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of progressive manufacturing or assembly experience.
• 2–4 years in a production leadership or supervision role.
• Experience in complex mechanical/electromechanical environments.
• Experience coordinating multiple production lines and shifts.
• Strong knowledge of Lean methodologies, root-cause analysis, and quality management.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily assembly activities across multiple lines, cells, products, or shifts.
• Translate the production schedule and customer priorities into daily/weekly plans.
• Direct Assembly Supervisors and teams to meet safety, quality, output and delivery targets.
• Monitor status and address deviations; optimize labor allocation based on demand.
• Maintain shift-to-shift communication and effective handoffs.
• Oversee WIP, takt time, cycle time, and on-time delivery against plan.
• Escalate risks and develop recovery plans with cross-functional teams.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, BOMs, work instructions and specifications.
• Promote safety culture and proper PPE, lockout/tagout, and ergonomics.
• Support root-cause analysis and corrective actions with QA and Eng.
• Drive continuous improvement and manufacturing cost reduction.
• Coordinate with Planning, Purchasing, and Supply Chain on material availability.
• Lead daily production meetings and maintain KPI visibility.
• Support introduction of new products and ECO implementations.
• Develop high-performance culture focused on safety, quality, and delivery.
