Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee, seeks a Production Lead to assist the Production Supervisor on Injection Molding, Blow Molding, and Reheat Stretch lines. You will promote safety, quality, and GMP, coach employees, and drive continuous improvement to increase throughput while reducing downtime and waste.

The role requires teamwork, flexibility with shifts, and the ability to work overtime as needed. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential to success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in manufacturing or similar environment.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills are essential.
• Ability to work well with teams and adapt to shift schedules.
• Strong problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist Production Supervisor with directing and supporting employees on Injection Molding, Blow Molding, and Reheat Stretch lines.
• Drive safety, quality, and GMP adherence; promote a zero-incident culture.
• Act as change agent; manage learning, shift changes, and overtime.
• Communicate clearly to ensure compliance with specifications and policies.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts to increase throughput and reduce downtime/waste.
• Provide feedback on employee performance and behavior to supervisors.
• Perform machine operations as needed and support production goals.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
