Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. is seeking a Manufacturing & Operations leader to supervise daily assembly department activities, align production plans with shipping schedules, and drive continuous improvement.

You will train associates, oversee changeovers, ensure quality and safety, and accurately document end-of-shift information while collaborating with engineering, quality and management. This role emphasizes leadership, reliability and process control.

Job Description: Lead and support daily assembly department operations. Establish production plan that relates to the actual shipping times. Communicate and execute all change overs with General Associates and Finished Goods (FGA). All end of shift information is accurate and recorded. Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions. Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues. Promote and maintain a safe work environment. Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals. Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Frequently bend, stoop, reach and perform repetitive motions
• Lift, carry, push and pull materials weighing up to 55 pounds
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including chemical-resistant gloves, aprons, face shields, and safety glasses
• Ability to distinguish colors and read gauges, meters, labels, and process documentation
