Job summary

ASTEMO AMERICAS, INC. in Sunbury, PA is seeking The Sub-Assembly Technical Staff for 3rd shift (8:00 PM – 4:30 AM). Lead frontline teams to ensure safe, quality-focused, and efficient production operations, coordinating daily workflow and supporting team members.

You will monitor production activities, reinforce SOPs, and ensure PPE and safety policy compliance. The role requires strong communication, organizational, technical, and leadership skills to engage with frontline staff and management,

Job Description: The Sub - Assembly Technical Staff (3rd Shift: 8:00 PM - 4:30 AM) provides frontline leadership and operational oversight to support safe, quality-focused, and efficient production operations. This role combines technical knowledge with leadership responsibilities to ensure production activities are completed according to established procedures, schedules, and quality standards. Responsibilities include coordinating daily workflow, supporting team members, monitoring production activities, reinforcing standard operating procedures (SOPs), and ensuring compliance with safety policies and PPE requirements. The Team Lead identifies and helps resolve production, safety, and quality issues through problem-solving and root-cause analysis, maintains production data and reporting, and serves as a key communication link between frontline employees and management. This position requires strong communication, organizational, technical, and leadership skills to support daily manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide frontline leadership and operational oversight for the Sub-Assembly team.
  • Support safe, quality-focused, and efficient production operations.
  • Guide team members by providing clear communication and constructive feedback.
  • Identify and resolve production, safety, and quality issues using problem‑solving and root‑cause analysis.
  • Support workflow coordination to maintain productivity and operational flow.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, PPE requirements, and operational procedures.
  • Follow and reinforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Complete production data entry and support production reporting and performance monitoring.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to guide diverse teams, resolve conflicts, and provide clear, constructive feedback.
  • Problem‑solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve production, safety, and quality issues.
  • Working knowledge of equipment, safety protocols, operational procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage workflows, schedules, and resources.
  • Safety awareness, including consistent enforcement of PPE requirements and safety policies.
  • Basic math and data entry skills to support production reporting and performance monitoring.
